Established a partnership with Miami University and set up a specialized English Language Center in Middletown campus.
The ELC program at the Middletown campus of Miami University has reached capacity. After meeting with the Dean of Miami University Regionals, the ELC courses will expand to the Hamilton campus in the fall semester of 2019.
The Hamilton dormitory reconstruction is complete by summer of 2019. The new dormitory building is a 10-minute drive from Miami University’s Hamilton campus. The location is ideal, in the heart of downtown Hamilton, with a variety of supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping malls nearby.
- Announced closing of its $6 million initial public offering; common shares began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ‘EEIQ’.
- Divested of its residential properties adjacent to the Hamilton and Middletown campuses of Miami University at 150% of its initial purchase price and announced plans to develop improved facilities for its students.
- Acquired 70% of the equity and 77.78% of the voting rights of Ameri-Can Education Group Corp, which has the right to the underlying equity of Davis College. Based in Toledo, Ohio, private two-year career-training college that offers courses in business, medical, education, engineering, and data science.
- The Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Highrim Holding International Limited, entered into agreements pursuant to which it acquired 80% of the issued and outstanding shares of EduGlobal College. EduGlobal College, based in metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, provides English proficiency courses and “transfer pathways” for students from around the world who wish to pursue university degrees in Canada.
- EduGlobal College entered into pathway transfer program with Algoma University.
- Davis College entered into memoranda of understandings for academic collaborations with Holy Cross of Davao College of the Philippines, Anhui Business College located in Anhui Province, China, Chongqing Technology and Business Institute located in Chongqing, China, Infrastructure University of Malaysia, PSB Academy of Singapore, Isabella State University of the Philippines, ICBT Campus of Sri Lanka (“ICBT”).
- EduGlobal College and Davis College entered into a recruitment agreement with ICBT designating them as their exclusive recruiting agent in Sri Lanka for three years.
- Launched Latin American recruitment initiative as an integral part of its international expansion strategy.
- Acquired remaining stake in EduGlobal College, achieving a 100% ownership position, which underscores EEIQ’s international expansion strategy and commitment to the Canadian markets.
- Davis College entered into a supplementary agreement with Chongqing Technology and Business Institute for the intake of students through September of 2025.
- EduGlobal College entered into a pathway transfer program with Yorkville University.
- EduGlobal College entered into articulation agreements with Corpus Christi College located in Vancouver and the Academy of Learning, which has learning campuses throughout Canada.
- Davis College entered into memoranda of Understandings with Suzhou Polytechnic Institute of Agriculture, Chongqing College of Electronic Engineering, Urumqi Vocational University located in Xinjiang, China, Hetu Technology Co, Ltd, located in Xinjiang China, the University of Portsmouth, Universidad Isidro Fabelo de Toluco S.C. located in Toluca, Mexico and Lourdes University.
- Davis College entered into an articulation agreement with Cambie College located in Vancouver.
- Renewed key recruiting agreement with Miami University for the recruitment of international students residing outside of the US to be admitted to the Miami University English Language Center at the Miami University Regional Campuses.
- Opened recruiting office in Sri Lanka to Focus on the Southeast Asia and Middle East Regions.
- Davis College approved to offer a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in business, bringing further visibility to the school’s professional career-training programs.
- New Designation for Davis College in its conversion to Davis University as approved by regulatory authorities, adding to the school’s reputation for providing quality education.
